“No, it’s totally cool,” Buffy replied and smiled, trying to ease the awkwardness. Buffy didn’t really know what to say to Angel, things were so different now. Things between them were kind of uncomfortable. She wasn’t sure what to say around him. Since he left, she knew that he had dated girls when he went to LA, and she had been with Riley and Spike. She obviously still loved him, she always would, but right now things between them were distant and strange. She at least wanted to still be friends with him. “Just patrolling?” Buffy asked.
“I’m glad” he smiled a little and started slowly walking through graveyard with her. He guessed Buffy was still with Spike, since he survived whole apocalypse thing. “Yeah”. “I though to make world safer a little” he smiled and looked at her shortly. “I’m guessing you’re doing the same thing” he asked and few seconds after that three vampires showed up, running towards them. “Just like in old times, huh?” he took stake from his pocket getting ready to fight them.

“What?” Buffy said, turning around to see her ex standing before her. “Oh, Angel. It’s you,” she said, somewhat relieved. Out of instinct, she had pulled her stake in the air, but was now lowering it down. She hadn’t expected to see Angel there, and she was surprised how happy she was that he came. Ever since he came to Cleveland, things were a little awkward between them. They weren’t really communicating and they hadn’t talked since before Sunnydale exploded. There wasn’t really anything that Buffy had to say to him, she just kinda missed talking to him. “So I told you that I met Illyria,” Buffy said, breaking the silence. “yeah,” Angel answered. “Well wasn’t she a ray of sunshine,” Buffy said sarcastically.
“Buffy?” Angel was a little surprised when he found out that girl he saw is Buffy. Things were pretty akward last time they saw each other, but he was hoping that they can at least be friends. They cant always avoid eaco ther here. “Yeah, its me” he said and walked a little closer to her. “Well she’s a little strange, but you’ll get used to it” he shrugged and paused. “I just want to apologize for the last time I saw you”. “I was a little strange there and extra brooding” she smiled a little.

So Angel, while I was on patrol, I ran into your friend Illyria. Shes really um, interesting. We basically had a weird argument and then she stormed off, but I’m interested in seeing what she can do. Do you think you could convince her to help me out on a patrol?
Illyria? You met her? Well she’s some kind of a god trapped in human body, so she’s a little strange. And I’ll try, but I dont think it will be much of a success. She was only close with Wes. But I’ll let you know when I talk with her.

Buffy walked out into the graveyard and took a breath of the crisp, clean air. It was a chilly night and Buffy went out to patrol with a lot of things on her mind. She missed Sunnydale, she missed the little things, like the smell of her house and all the posters on her walls. Her and Dawn moved into an average sized apartment in Cleveland that’s right next to the high school Dawn was going to. The only thing Buffy knew would never change was her friends. They all came up to Cleveland with her, there’s not another slayer in this area, she had all the other used-to-be potentials scattered across Ohio. They all had their own little space and the Scoobies took the one right on top of the hellmouth. Which they weren’t sure of where exactly that was… Buffy hadn’t been getting a lot of action on her patrols; she assumed it was because word got out that the slayer was in town. She knew things would pick up soon. Angel and some of his people came up to help her because they had basically finished all their problems in LA. It was nice seeing Angel again, she had missed him. They patrolled together but that was basically the only time she saw him, she wasn’t too sure how she felt about that.
Angel sighed walking through graveyard in Cleveland. It was cold rainy night but he didnt care. He had stake in his pocket in case a vampire showed up, and he was pretty sure that that will happen. He and some of his friends from Angel’s Investigation, came to Cleveland. Things in LA were pretty peaceful, so they wasnt needed there, but they were needed in Cleveland. Since they found out that theres hellmouth here, the place became new Sunnydale. But also Buffy and her gang was here, so that made things a little hard to him. He saw Buffy one time here, and they patroled, and they wasnt really much talking. He shook his head a little going back to reality. Suddenly he heard some noise and he turned around. He saw a figure, and he felt that that person is human, but because it was dark he couldnt seen her face. “What are you doing here at night?” he said loud enough for her to hear it. “It’s dangerous” he walked few steps toward her waiting for her to turn around.

WESLEY: He must be under the effect of Lorne— and Eve, too, presum— presumally.
FRED: Prezoomally.
WESLEY: Lorne’s doing it—something to all of us.
LORNE: I am not.
WESLEY: Everything he’s told us to do, we’re doing. Spike’s thinking positive, Gunn is peeing all over the office.
FRED: And we’re a little bit drunk.
